Bidra med feedbackWow... What a find. This place has everything! Fresh baked breads, lots of creative pastries, sandwiches, and even some stuff for dinner Very good coffee and espresso. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good place to soak up local color and vibe.
LOVE THIS PLACE. Like going to a bake sale. Tasty, homemade, unpretentious treats like sticky buns and Nanaimo bars. Their breakfast burritos will power an entire morning of hiking, no snacks required, and their turtle brownies are simply phenomenal.
I'm glad we stopped here. The staff knew exactly vegan needs. There was no vegan sandwich in the cooler, so they made one to order. It was a kind of chickpea, with salad, tomatoes and cucumber. It didn't look like much, but it was delicious and satisfying. I also ate the vegan chickpea cookie and cal salad later. Both are removable. We had managed to get more food in Whitehorse, but not even disturb Stop because the Village Bakery meals were so good
Unleashed baked goods with a few options for vegan and a few more veg options. Pastries and food. Build your own sandwiches. The prices were good. The staff was friendly. Taste was good. Just need more Veg / Vegan Options!
One hour and half outside Whitehorse, Haines Junction is nowhere in the middle of the wilderness. This sweet little bakery and café offers something for everyone. There are no massive quantities of vegan options, but they have a veggie lasagna with cashew cheese, mushroom filled paprika, tofu wraps with rice paper with peanut sauce and sandwiches you can customize. They also have endangered types of chocolate bars on a shelf area. There are also smoothies and coffee as well as cold drinks. It is in a beautiful small location and has a beautiful outdoor seating area. The service was also good.
