Bidra med feedbackMy sister and I recently stayed at the Raven's Rest Inn for three nights and we absolutely loved our experience. The owner, Lynn, was extremely friendly and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, from walking sticks to help with our hikes, a place to dry our tent, and even assistance with our laundry. We had just come from a backcountry camping trip and this stay was the perfect way to end our journey. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast options at the village bakery next door. Overall, we would highly recommend the Raven's Rest Inn for a fantastic experience. 10/10!
The rooms are very clean, the Wi-Fi is good enough for Netflix, the shower pressure is good, the environment is quiet and warm. There is no carpet, which is nice, but the only downside is that the room may feel a bit small for a family. The beds are okay, but they are a bit hard.
As a private tour planner, I am busy booking accommodations that best reflect the people and cultures of the area to which my guests travel. Accommodation is so much more than a place to simply sleep. It can be, if well chosen, a new home away from home. Lynn is a wonderful Inn Keeper; friendly, friendly, honest, care, quirky, endearing, witty and brimming with integrity and shine. The Ravens Rest Inn is clean, comfortable, secret, welcome and warming. Nestled in the spectacularly beautiful Haines Junction Valley, it offers the perfect location for a weekend getaway or a multi-day exploration at Kluane National Park. Lynn even offers high-quality mountain bikes, free to get out and explore this magical place. I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for over 25 years and it always remains better and better. Thank you, Lynn. I look forward to the personal return for our next live chat.
Rooms are decent and slightly larger than normal. However, I was believed by the Raven's Rest Inn website and the guests commented that breakfast included. At check-in I was told that there were only two nights reserved. What about that? Pay the same prices, but you get two breakfasts with two nights and zero breakfast with one night. As a result, I think that this place is overpriced and I will stay the next time somewhere else.
Four weeks ago my partner Michel and I had the pleasure of staying at the Ravens Rest Inn in beautiful Haines Junction. The room we stayed in was clean and nicely decorated. It was quiet, even with it being next to the front door, and the beds were comfortable. Lynn the Innkeeper was friendly and helpful. She had bought a rhubarb pie at a local bake sale and gave us two pieces for dessert for later. And the Bakery is a short walk down the road. We hope to come back next year and stay again. Room 1 again please Lynn. Thank you for your generous hospitality.
