I was there with the family and had an excellent skarpötoast. Very friendly staff and perfect location!

Recommended by our local Swedish host. Where most of the local swedes eat. Good value for money Sweden remember so often expensive) very good portions, always full. Salmon was the best, meatballs tasty. Try here if in Vaxholm. First place off the boat. No waiting time issues, staff helpful. Best so far on our Swedish tour.

Simply terrible waiting time for me. I waited over an hour to get a simple Vaxholms tallrik, which is just sill and cheese plate. While other dishes were served within 15 minutes. I got a free drink as an excuse, but asst that point that hardly made a difference.

During the summer they extend their fast food eatery to become more of an outdoor restaurant and on wednesday they even have sing along . Absolutely fantastic! Food is good, prices are fair and portions are huge. No one will go hungry from here. Not fine dining but absolutely decent food and drink.

So we found this place by an accident. We been walking around and a lot of the places were expensive and full of people. This place have an gorgeous view over the water and harbor. There are no sit in restaurant you sitting next to the water and under a tent They have this todays lunch menu which is usually for a place like this, and it only cost 95kr including drink and salad! They had 2 dishes when we were there but they change every day so you probably want to look at the menu before choosing this place. We had the salmon with an ginger and yogurt sauce that was amazing. The food came out fast and everything was great! Only problem they had was that with a open restaurant the bird will come, and if you are sitting close by the entrance then the birds will try to sneak in out. But it wasn 't so bad at all.
