Dined at Lidingö Lidinge Öl, hoping for an improvement since my last visit in 2009. I'm optimistic that the former Dannecrogen will be better in 2010.
Utölimpan has its merits, but the bakery associated with the restaurant deserves the worst possible rating. New owners? Everything as a customer experienced was completely off the mark: the food, the service... I couldn’t even judge the dessert because it was so disappointing. Not to mention the bread served with the meal, which was dry and tasteless. Why not just order the famous glue pan instead? It felt like a budget option, and you’d expect more from a restaurant in the archipelago on a Sunday evening. Never again!
Dine at Utölimpan on Lidingö, where the food is fresh. I hope the former Dannekrogen has improved in 2010.
