Hotellbaren Scandic Nord

I needed to book a room very last minute and at 22:00 on a Saturday night, plus I have a trailer on my car so limited to where I could stay, thankfully found the Nord had lots of parking, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. I had to return the next night, and booked it online earlier, when I arrived the reception staff welcomed me back, I found them very friendly. Breakfast was well laid out, plenty of variety and the booking system is easy to use. The location is not for people needing a scenic views, its location is off the motorway, but parking is perfect and has everything you need to get a good rest and be ready to travel the next day. Good value for the money and cannot fault the staff.

I recently stayed at the Scandic hotel Sundsfall and overall, I had a pleasant experience. The rooms were quiet and clean, which was fantastic for a good night's sleep. My dinner and breakfast were tasty, and I cannot fault the quality of the food at all. The location of the hotel is just outside of town, and while it is located near the highway, I appreciated the peacefulness of the surroundings. However, I did have a minor issue with the evening receptionist, who I felt could have been a bit more up to date and friendly. This put a small damper on my stay, and it would have been nice to feel more welcome. Additionally, the price of 160, euro per night felt quite high, and I'm not entirely convinced that it was worth it. All in all, I enjoyed my stay at the Scandic hotel Sundsfall, and I appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms, the good food, and the location. However, I believe there is room for improvement regarding the evening shift receptionist's attitude and the high price of the room.

Perfect hotel for people on the road. Good breakfast, good service, nice clean rooms as on all Scandic hotels.
