Okay, food, a little slow service. Very nice place.

Found this place and had some friends joining me for dinner. The location is absolutely amazing and the vibes are really great and different from what you usually find in a restaurant! Thai people working there give of course the local touch! Cocktails were INCREDIBLE! PadThai slightly oily but overall good portions and very tasty food!!!! The sauces for the Vietnamese rolls were super delicious! Highly recommended for a date, for friends outing or just to breath some Thai atmosphere in Stockholm!

In my past seven days across two separate trips to Stockholm (August 2022 July 2023 I have been to Thai boat no less than... seven times. I think that speaks for itself! On my summer 2022 visit to the city, my friend found Thaiboat completely by accident whilst adventuring on a scooter and recommended we go there that evening. I'd been to Stockholm over 30 times before this, but didn't know of the place. Now I can safely say that to me it is the very best place to eat drink in not just Stockholm, but all of Sweden that I've seen so far! That's not just my opinion; my friends who have also visited agree with me. The location, the design layout, the authentic Thai feel in the middle of a northern European city, the boat itself, the outside booths bars with their fairy mood lighting and their ambience. The little sandy beach (yep, you read right! with the DJ booth, the delicious food itself, the cocktails Thai beers, their own fruity IPA, the wines, but above all, the staff the service. Thaiboat is literally like a home away from home to me and some of my closest friends when we visit Stockholm. This year, I recognised two of the staff Cookie Sofi from last year and they really are wonderful, as are many of those whose names I don't know yet. Finally, huge kudos to the wonderful Lea, owner manager who literally works herself to the bone daily like all of her staff to ensure guests have a fabulous experience. I can't wait to visit again soon and won't be waiting a year again this time!

Check your bill. This place is a tourist trap. Processed overpriced food. Make sure you ask for an itemised bill as they add random extra items you have not ordered. Rip off. Avoid.

The food was nothing special. We ordered 1 starter to share but got served with 2 portions of the same stuff in the same plate, which made us had no idea that there were actually 2 portions, and got charged by the money for 2 starters without any explanation. I later emailed them to complain about it and got no response. The only good thing is that the environment is pretty unique, it has a fake beach on the boat.
