Wedemarks Konditori - Oestersund

Cosy café in the heart of Östersund's town centre. Traditional and has a spacious interior with two floors of seating. Good hot chocolate and strawberry cream cake.

Wedemarks is a great place for delicious confections!! They've been open since 1924. It's also a great place for lunch or just a coffee with friends. I really enjoyed Wedemarks and I hope to return next time I'm in the Östersund.

Classic cafe in Ostersund with a abundance of nice pastries. Also seating on the lower floor. Outdoor seating. Don't forget to ask for the code for the bathroom.

Was recommended this place mostly for the pastry Killevipp, and that was tasty, but when it comes to the other pastries we bought we got really disappointed. The carrot cake was dry and the chocolate ball we ordered was the one that was covered with chocolate and a nut mix, but when we opened the box in the evening we just had got a normal chocolate ball

Was recommended this place by an acquaintance and saw high ratings, but was a bit let down. Atmosphere is alright, but it's too open and loud to be called cosy. Beverages are good and reasonably priced, but fika foods are lacking (in taste as if store bought) and priced higher than average.
