Café A La Place - Malmoe Sverige

The restaurant is located on the third floor (or second at the Hylie station) near a green area, featuring plenty of seating along the main walkway. The decor feels a bit neglected and could use some refreshing. Despite the place being nearly empty, I had to go up to get my order and utensils myself. They also didn't have water available for the espresso, which meant I had to purchase a bottled one. I found it a bit disappointing that they didn’t offer complimentary water, especially during the summer. On a positive note, the seats were comfortable, and the staff was quick and friendly. The espresso was good, and the galette, which is the restaurant's namesake, was excellent—generous portion and very tasty. I would definitely consider returning.

I received exceptional customer service during my recent visit. I had a specific inquiry about New Year’s Eve, and even though it was a busy time, Amon was incredibly friendly and eager to assist me. He truly prioritized helping the customer. Everything turned out perfectly!

Perhaps I had high expectations from my time in L.A. last year, where I enjoyed delicious acai bowls on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, this acai bowl just doesn't taste like what I remember.

Canned ananas is not okay.
