The food was delicious, but they forgot to serve the soup that came with the meal. This was actually not so bad, but the shrug when I asked the hostess about it I did not find appropriate.

Amazing Sushi place, cozy and homey ambient, very friendly staff. The only thing that tops that is great tasting food. Kudos!

This restaurant is cozy and offers delicious food at a reasonable price. If you're unsure of what to order, I recommend trying the 15-piece sushi platter. This dish allows you to sample a variety of different sushi flavors and will help you decide on your favorite for your next visit.

This amazing hole-in-the-wall with a simple menu with limited selections serves the most amazing sushi. It melts in your mouth, is super fresh, rice just perfect and the tempura crisp. Try the spicy tuna, the tempura roll or the salmon sashimi. Some of the best sushi I have had!!! If I should find something to critique it was that our last roll was a little too lose rolled… But tast-price is unbeatable

After reading the reviews and seeing everyone recommend the sushi, I decided to give Mamaya a try. I must say, it met my expectations in terms of taste and price. The restaurant is nicely decorated and conveniently located near the Vasaplatsen bus stop. I didn't get to try their sake this time, but I definitely plan on trying it next time.
