Bidra med feedbackWe got the 4 kinds of tarts: Portuguese, Cheese, Green Tea, and Coconut Tart. Cheese tasted like a soupy cheesecake. Green tea was liquidy/didn't like it. Coconut was crumbly. The best one was the Portuguese egg custard tart. It was delicious.
This place has the best Portuguese Egg Custard Tarts. Their regular egg-cutard tarts are also delicious. The bowl is beautiful and flocky and perfectly crispy and its filling is... the staff is very nice too.... the Cantonese lady Cindy is quite nice and so is the Taiwanese lady. There are two other people who also turn... who are pretty nice. Her lotus seed egg yolk snack is also delicious. Only the correct amount of crabs and filling is not too sweet. Very recommended. My friend also liked her red bean version, but I'm not a big fan of red beans, so I didn't try. Looollll... but the others... definitely worth a try!
I come here every morning before work. Their buns are yummy and fresh, my only complaint is the egg tarts are a little expensive $2.25 each).
Nowadays it’s difficult for find quality bread for an affordable price. New Flushing Bakery however stands out. The egg tarts looks delicious and fresh for sure though I didn’t order it. I ordered two pineapple buns on my way to work, and they taste great, for just $4. I wish sometime in the future the bakery will adapt credit card payment, and I’m willing to purchase by bucks via. Credit Card for their pineapple buns. The lady at the cashier was a pleasant employee too. Overall, New Flushing Bakery is much better and generous with its price/quality, while many competitor (like Fay Da) are increasing their price while diminishing the quality and amount of content.
We visited this place last December, and I'm finally getting around to writing a review! The egg tarts, both Hong Kong and Portuguese styles, were absolutely delicious, along with the pineapple buns. We received our treats fresh out of the oven, so they were warm and delightful. The crust was incredible—just perfect! Keep in mind that the bakery only accepts cash. The space is small, but the ladies at the front work efficiently. It's also easy to locate, right next to Coco Tea Juice. I'm still dreaming about those amazing treats!
