Björkås Kök - Djurhamn

It was average, much too expensive for what it is, the personal limit rude. If we go back to the neighbourhood, I'd get my own food so I don't have to go back there.

Björkås felt like my living room and dining room during the beautiful Swedish summer in Djurö. It's a family-run restaurant with incredibly friendly staff, offering delicious food and a varied menu. They were welcoming whether I came in after a workout or just for a beer. I enjoyed hearty dinners featuring dishes like rajncici, steaks, and a fantastic carving. I'm looking forward to visiting again when they reopen next May. It's also a great spot to meet some locals.

I had an excellent kebab pizza that was larger than the typical pizza. It was nearly more than I could handle in one sitting!

The pizzas here are excellent, and while the main dishes are decent, the desserts are frozen, which isn’t the greatest option. However, the meat dishes are quite good, and they pay attention to avoid overcooking, so I recommend giving them a try. In terms of decor, there’s room for improvement, but it doesn’t detract from the overall pleasant atmosphere. It’s a lovely local family restaurant with a lively vibe, and the service is friendly and efficient.
