Carson Nugget - Carson City

Nostalgic place for us! Still serving the famous Awful- Awful Burger, named such because it's awful awful good!! We enjoy the older casinos, it's like reliving the past. The burgers were really good, did not disappoint. I had my first Awful-Awful about 25 years ago, and this time was as good as the first! Now I'm going to tell you about our server... Cindy Lou Who (okay it's really Cindy) She was a true old school server... Very attentive and friendly without being intrusive. We request her every time we are there on day-shift. Cindy Lou really shows pride in service!! Pictures are of a breakfast... Was so eager to eat the burgers I forgot to get pics Next visit we had a Waffle with eggs and hash browns, and a Biscuits and Gravy plate.

The comedy club was awesome! Angeline's you as delicious. And the drinks were tasty! Great experience and great fun. Lots of laughs!

They have pool Tournaments here on Tuesdays at 2pm. I love to shoot pool so whenever I have time I will enter the Tournament. Yet it's rare when I do have time to do this for I'm usually busy then. They have some good players there so it's a challenge I learn to play better in time when challenged as I think many ppl do. There's are many kinds of games to choose from to gamble on. They have about to play cards, 3 bars, 3 restaurants Bingo on the main floor. Upstairs there are Conference rooms their larger events are held up there.

Very old casino, but for what it is....not bad. Back in the day they use to have a decent restaurant, but what they have now is a small restaurant that is little pricey. They do have this old batman vehicle which is pretty cool to look at.

Didn’t spend time in the casino, but tucked in the back corner is a bar called Gina’s that has live music Thu Sat and occasionally other days. They have a stage, about 15 tables and maybe 8 seats at the bar. Music starts a little earlier as most of the crowd are local retirees. Gina is usually the bartender and super friendly generous pours and reasonably priced. Saw a Big Band this week that was a lot of fun! (No smoking in the bar which is nice since the casino is so smoky.
