Restaurang Carl Fredrik - Aengelholm

A group of us guys stopped by this restaurant after a long bike ride and we were all pretty hungry. We called ahead to let them know we might be arriving late, but it wasn't an issue. We ordered a variety of dishes; I particularly enjoyed the fish soup, which was delicious. The standout, however, was the duck confit - the best I've ever had.

My husband and I recently visited Carl Fredriks for an evening out. We had noticed the restaurant's sign many times while passing by, but we finally decided to give it a try. I regret waiting so long to do so, as the restaurant had a subtle charm that we both loved. The location, building, entrance sign, interior, and decor were all tastefully and simply designed in a pleasant way. Our server, a young woman named Lina, perfectly complemented the ambiance with her discreet, professional, friendly, attentive, and focused service. The food was outstanding! While the menu may not be extensive, the quality of the starters, entrées, and desserts we ordered was exceptional, and the wines were also great. The chef, who I believe is also the owner, personally welcomed us and ensured that all guests were enjoying their meals. Had a fantastic evening enjoying delicious food in a beautiful setting. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the vicinity of Ängelholm. Be sure to try the duck dish- it's a must!

We didn’t have high expectations and ended up positively surprised. Tried few separate dishes and few deserts. Each dish was different and extremely delicious. Cozy place with lovely service. Will definitely visit again.

When in Ängelholm, get out of town, head north and check out Carl Fredriks resto in the suburbs. The menu is interesting and we'd have liked to sample several dishes, but settled for fish soup and caesar salad. Both were top quality and served in large portions by an efficient young girl. She handled a stream of diners without difficulties while the chef was busy behind the scenes. He appeared at one point to check that we were satisfied. There was no doubt!
