Bidra med feedbackWe stop here every time we are in York and do usually enjoy the donuts. However, if you have food allergies beware. The staff seems to have little knowledge of what goes into the donuts, but they make believe they do. I asked what the jelly donuts were filled due to a cherry allergy. The young lady behind the counter said “I think they are raspberry apple” and I asked her if she could confirm because I have an allergy. She responded with “they are raspberry filled.” ?Got home and took the first bite only to discover it was cherry filled, and I had an allergic reaction. If the staff doesn’t know, I would prefer they be honest rather than take a risk with people’s safety. Maple Donuts, when it comes to allergen information, you need to take better precautions. This is an issue that can easily be avoided by listing ingredients, or providing your staff with better training.
About the only place open at 2am when you want something sweet. Donuts were fresh and good. Prices reasonable. Drive thru makes it even easier.
Drive thru throw down. The young server at the window doesn't make eye contact with you at all when asking for an order for a baker's dozen, with 6 custard with glazed icing on top and the other 6 of chocolate with custard. Then has the nerve to dissappear after giving their coworker the job of asking me to pay, so I got no name of the orginal server. Scammed out of what I ordered. She even had to write this down and it was a simple order. Order that I actually received was 4 glazed donuts, 4 chocolate with angel cream, 4 chocolate with the holes in the middle, and 4 chocolate with custard.
Donuts have a dough after taste. Service is good they just be on top of you to pay before your food is even done. Sometimes that can be annoying
When I was working down the street, they were a welcome treat in the morning, but I guess I'm not that much of a donut fan??
