JJ's - Wollongong

I don't usually eat much Indian food, but over the years this restaurant has consistently impressed me. I believe it was one of the best Indian meals I've ever had, with flavors that were meticulously crafted. The standout dish for me was the yogurt raita, which was exceptional and showed the level of care put into each dish. The staff also made sure to inquire about our preferred level of spiciness, which I appreciated. I found this attention to detail to be spot-on, although I overheard another table complaining that their meal was too spicy (a pity for them, as I enjoyed it). It seemed like they may not have been accustomed to the spiciness of Indian cuisine. I also want to mention that the vegetarian curries I tried were delicious, but quite rich due to the heavy use of cream, which may not suit every diner's taste.

I didn't have a reservation for dinner in Wollongong, so I decided to just go with the flow. We ended up at JJ's Indian Restaurant to see if they had a table available. It was a busy night due to a concert at the entertainment center, but the staff quickly found a table for us. I had never eaten here before, so I was hopeful that the meal would be good. To my delight, it turned out to be a fantastic dinner with top-notch service. We chose the beef vindaloo and mango lassi, and we were very pleased with our meal. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

We forgot to make a reservation for dinner, but luckily the lovely hostess was able to accommodate us. From then on, the service was exceptional, the drinks and food arrived quickly, and the food was delicious. The prices were very reasonable and we left feeling like we had just enjoyed a feast. Highly recommended!

Had a nice selection of food delivered. I’ve tried a lot on the menu. It seems you can’t go wrong as everything is delicious. As usual, a great eating experience! Looking forward to dining in, especially as the staff are so good. The third party...delivery partner was a little slow, but it was worth the wait and the food was still hot. Thanks again JJ’s
