The Nook Diner - Winnipeg

I've never had a bad meal here. I love the burgers. There's nothing fancy or showy about them so you can really taste the quality beef. A great classic spot for affordable and straightforward home cooking.

Nice diner with great service. Food came quick and the atmosphere was like an old school diner sitting beside the open kitchen. Not the quietest place but if you want solid breakfast and lunch fare go for it. I had the veggie burger and I would go back in the future.

We live in Wolseley and go to the Nook for Breakfasts when we want a quick but tasty big old fashioned breakfast. I've had the Bacon and Eggs with hash browns, bacon and toast, and also the steak and eggs. Greg has had the classic breakfast as well as an omelet and the eggs benny. Burgers and fries are decent as well. This is your classic greasy spoon diner (not to say it's unclean. It's not. Their food is straight forward without gimmicks and in large portions with a reasonable price tag. The staff and owners are always pleasant and friendly, and they accommodate my allergies with kindness. (plus you can have a conversation at a reasonable level without being overwhelmed like a few other breakfast places.

A good diner in a great location. Classic diner food, some tasty omelettes and breakfast options plus standard diner lunches... Nothing incredible, but great for a quick, tasty and easy brunch in the neighbourhood.

Great breakfast and lunch place! The food is always delicious and the prices are some of the best in Winnipeg. If you get there before 11AM, the breakfast special is discounted! You won't walk away hungry.
