Bidra med feedbackCheap and reliable....especially on Tuesdays. When considering your options in Portage Place, Taco Time is usually a safe bet. Unlike some places in the mall, the staff are friendly and make your tacos when you order them don't want tomatoes? No problem! I like to have it my way.<br/ <br/ If you find yourself downtown on a Tuesday be sure to drop by...$1.29 tacos simply can't be beat. I've been known to eat 4 or 5 in a sitting, you really can't get this full for $7.22 anywhere else! Plus, who doesn't enjoy deep fried tater tots?
Good Food Court Option. I have been going here since they were located in the old Eaton Place food court. A few years ago they transferred to Portage Place and I still go here from time to time.<br/ <br/ The menu is pretty limited, but it is pretty much what you expect from this kind of Mexican restaurant. The tacos are reasonably priced and I like the crustos (cinnamon and sugar covered fried dough). The empanadas (cherry pie filling in a fried rolled dough) are also good, but take a bit of time to make. <br/ <br/ The service is usually quick and the staff are always friendly. <br/ <br/ If you are looking for something other than the usual items while in the Portage Place food court, you could do a lot worse than this place.
My favourite Taco-Time! The Flip ladies who work there are friendly, and my order is usually well-done and not cold, the atmosphere of the 80’s style food court is always great for a retro buff like me, the only problems with that food court are the misbehaving indians. Keep up the good work
I remember 14-15 being a good time for taco time, although there were a few workers that slacked but I've always liked this more than TB as its better size!
Love the Ladies here! They always remember me and know my favourite!
