Bidra med feedbackIt has been many years since I have had such bad service that I walked out of a restaurant, but I chose to do so here. It was not terribly busy, so there was no excuse. We were seated, and our waitress came and asked us if we wanted something to drink, when we said, "just water will be fine" she said she would give us time look over the menu. She then proceeded to attend to other customers. Delivering food, and taking orders, some from customers who had arrived after us. My wife commented that it had been quite a long time since she attended our table, but when she came to take the order from the table next to us, who had come in long after we had, I had experienced enough, and got up and left. It seems that when we had not chosen to order drinks, she lost interest in serving us. Perhaps she thought we would not leave a good tip. (I am a minimum 20% tipper) Incidentally, we left and went to a greek restaurant right across the parking lot from here, (a bit like a Greek Subway Restaurant) and the food and service was great.
Went here for breakfast. Service was great but the table was sticky, and food was not good. When you have country fried steak/chicken you don't serve chicken strips. The restaurant was empty and after we ordered i checked reviews and understood why. Very pricey for what is served. Will not eat here again.
I went to this restaurant twice with my relatives for Sunday brunch, as it was closeby and convenient to where we were staying. The food was OK, as was the service. Nothing special, but alright. It is a standard Canadian/American family restaurant and everything about it seemed average, but nothing out of the ordinary. Booths tend not to have a lot of room, so larger people may have a hard time fitting in them.
Perkins is a no fail ever to me. We go there about once per month on sunday afternoon, after church. They never have huge line ups, so you get sat quickly. The service is good and friendly. We always have the buttermilk pancakes, and Perkins has perfected them, there is no need to go anywhere else to get your pancake cravings satisfied. Always go for breakfast, even when its lunch time we eat the breakfast. Love you Perkins.
The day I went they were very understaffed...so that could be the reason our visit wasn't great. We had to wait a long time to get seated (even though there were plenty of tables open), then when we were seated we had to wait a while to get served. It just felt like a waste of time for food that was mediocre.
