Modern Coffee - Winnipeg

Great atmosphere and great coffee. Definitely be back. Only downside is I wish there was more seating.

Lovely atmosphere, great coffee, excellent live music, good food. I will become a regular and would recommend that everyone give this place a try. Very small space but nice community feel. Lots of Winnipeg nostalgia to boot.

Beautiful, great atmosphere, cortado was great. The barista was wonderful and answered my silly questions with a really positive energy (I do not know very much about coffee). Wifi handled 1080p streaming video pretty well. Clientele was very happy. I was there to study, it was a comfortable experience. Even had some locally made and individually packaged dog biscuits on sale which I was happy to purchase.Kid-friendliness: Staff really seemed to like kids and went out of their way to interact with them a bit to make them comfortable.

Stopped in for the first time today to this amazing coffee shop! The atmosphere was great and the barista working was so friendly and provided fantastic service despite the bit of a lineup. I decided to try the Smoked Tea Latte and wow it was incredible! It is a tough one to describe my best attempt would be similar to a London fog but with a strong flavour of a perfectly toasted marshmallow over a campfire.Definitely plan on coming back to sample something from the coffee side of the menu next time but I think it will have a tough time topping this stellar tea!
