Leopold's Tavern Regina East - Winnipeg

Not a spot I need to go to for lunch (something I just did), it a fun place after hours. The burger is on everyone?s plate for lunch and tastes like meatball sandwich. I like a burger no egg. The burger toppings are good and well put together and the fries are basic. The soup of the day was lemon chicken (not a home run would rather any other lemon chicken) but I hate it. Service was with one waitress and 6 tables when we arrived so not great.

A Friday nights stop for drinks and appies. Loved the deep fried pickles and the nachos were superb. We ordered a large order topped with chicken. Way too much so had a healthy snack the next day at home. Was surprised how well they warmed up. Very friendly staff.

Top 5 pub fare in Winnipeg! Service was good, staff was very friendly. Place was pretty busy. Probably the best Donair sandwich I have had in a decade. I can only imagine how great this place is in the evening. It is a little on the pricey side. You're looking at an average of 20 bucks a plate. Food is stellar though.

Okay so this location gets 5 stars from me. I ordered there burger of the month. I believe it was called whiskey burger? Either way I chose to upgrade my fries in order to get macaroni with it. Wow it was amazing. At that moment I forgot I was in a public place. I inhaled everything. Then I downed it with a leopolds lager, which was not bad considering the price. Service was friendly, seemed to always know when my cup was empty, which is a plus for me. I'd definitely come here again for a night out

Very nice place to grab a drink with friends and have something to eat. The food was good, I paid extra to have the poutine and in my opinion not worth the extra cost. Someone else at my table paid extra for the kettle chips and again not worth the extra money. I would have given a 5 star but my poutine was barely warm, saying that there was 5 of us at the table and that may have contributed but they were not overly busy.
