Inferno's on Academy - Winnipeg

The food was amazing, rich with flavors. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was quiet, mid afternoon. Which was awesome, the service was fast and the serving are huge. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food you get. Would love to try their flatbread pizza, so we will need to rtn.

I have eaten at both infernos locations and both of them are excellent. We went on Friday and were able to get a table easily enough. Food was great. Started with the Bison spring rolls, which were really good, and then moved on to the steak and lamb, both dishes were great, and their specials that the server mentioned doubled the menu options. They also had some really nice wine selections. Definitely will be back.

Very nice eatery. Desserts are very appealing. Nice little patio on a busy street.

Update: unfortunately the Academy location has closed. The Des Meurons location is stilll open. Great service, friendly staff, and the food was amazing. Photo: Filet Mignon with prawns and seasonal vegetables.

I had the bison spring rolls and the were really good. I also had the French onion soup also really good. But as we know soup is hot and I would have like the service to have had my glass filled in a timely manor. Although this is a hard criticism it is minor and can easily be fixed. And it could have been just one of those nights a person had. No big deal and when I go back again I’m sure it will be fixed. A very nice waitress Just an off night. They had two musicians which made the atmosphere perfect. Try what I had you won’t be disappointed. I’m sure the water issue will be fixed with a gentle reminder. See you soon.
