Whenever I travel to Winnipeg, my first stop for food is usually Habanero Sombrero. They have a great menu, and my personal favourite is their fish tacos. I can never get enough of them, and I always expect them to be fresh, which I love. The portion size is just right, and the prices are reasonable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I believe that The Forks has come a long way and made many changes to keep up with the times without losing its historical charm. The eco-friendly atmosphere is great, and if you're in Winnipeg looking for amazing tacos, you definitely need to check out this place. Parking: Finding parking can be a challenge during certain times, especially during lunch hours, weekends, and holidays. The parking facility requires payment through an app. However, there is still one machine available for payment located in front of the Pancake House entrance. Kid-friendliness: This establishment is suitable for children and they will also enjoy the food served here. Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible foe those who have assistive device.

Love that they are dedicated gluten free! Makes me feel very safe as someone with a gluten allergy. I tried the chicken, shrimp, and fish tacos. The fish taco was by far the best, definitely have that if you give them a try! The others I would say aren’t worth the steep prices, but I’m from the states and used to very flavorful, authentic Mexican food.
