Sir Bob's Fish & Chips - Williams Lake

If you have a craving for fish and chips, don't go anywhere else in this city. Other restaurants have f&c on the menu. None of them (and I have tried 3 different places in town) compare with the freshness, quantity and price. Generous helpings. Great fries. Tartar sauce tastes homemade (but I don't know if it is). Crisp fish and chips. Not greasy. Pleasant staff too (full disclosure: I have only done take out), but the small restaurant always has a couple of tables filled and the place looks immaculate. So happy I found this place.

The Calamari is the best in town. Try it you won't be disappointed!! Tastes like it's straight from the boat onto your plate. They have all you can eat fish chips on Tuesdays. Well worth going. Bottomless fries to go along with the fish. Sometimes, the fish can be a little oily, but most of the time it's cooked perfectly. Just a little bit of batter that's what makes it so nice crispy with no blobs of raw batter. Service is always friendly too.

This is a specialty restaurant where there mainstay is fish, the portion are great, lots of fries or salads. Homemade Tartar sauce , deserts are plain but portions huge. You can't walk away hungry from this place. Wednesday is Seniors evening for an extra 10 off the already reasonable prices. plenty of parking.

We live around 5 minutes drive from Sir Bob's. Due to its location we have only eaten in once and were not disappointed Good family/senior's restaurant with friendly service.

I was the first customer 15 minutes after they opened on a Saturday and the waitress was friendly and the kitchen ready to go! Down to earth friendly atmosphere with a very professional work ethic, the experience was refreshing. The cod and chips were excellent and I got the split order of fries with coleslaw rather than all fries. The waitress recommended fries split with either coleslaw or green salad because there are a lot of fries . Good choice since the split order of fries seemed to be a regular sized order at other restaurants. Both the fries and coleslaw were as good or better as you can get anywhere.
