Sushi California - Williams Lake

Please Don't Call this Sushi!. I hope that the people eating here get to try real sushi one day this isn't it. Extremely mediocre, shopping mall sushi quality. Do not ask for anything specialized or creative because these are not trained sushi chefs, but people working from a template supplied by a franchise. And beware anything with raw fish Williams Lake is hours away from fresh fish you will be dependent on their handling of frozen!

STILL THE BEST !. Wife I went for dinner last night. We ARE rather educated regarding sushi sashimi Japanese and Asian food. California Sushi has the BEST sushi sashimi north of Vancouver AND the very best SERVICE in the region. Probably why we have become regular customers over the past couple of years. They manage to maintain high standards of food quality service.

Has the Las Vegas roll. Was good. Nice sauce, good crunch. Fish more fresh than in other small town sushi places. Service was perfect. Even given complimentary dish of strawberrys and cream for a sweet ending. Edamame was a small dish, overpriced I'd say.

1st visit got charged for a basic sushi combo and a california roll for 20 when all you can eat dinner was 22 and my server did not mention they had all you can eat service and I could have tried other things...for a small town sushi joint I had high hopes because I am a sushiholic from van and crave the good stuff every week and have been eating it for years. the fact is, is that at the lunch buffet the owner tries to pass off variations of california rolls for a poor variety of sushi... I love the sushi love the service love the staff everyone is polite the prices are decent the sushi is yum yum a 10! I'm a normal life runner!
