Whenever you got one of their chicken meals, you are getting awesome chicken. Best tasting fry and chicken that Ive found in NC. The Brunswick stew is a must try, OMG YUM. Their Baked Beans are on the sweet side, but still tasty, but pair them with some green beans or cabbage to cut down on the sweet. The Saturday Special Turkey Wings, one wing is enough for one person, they also lay it on a bed of rice and smother everything in brown gravy. Turkey was very tender and flavorful. full of juice and perfect color. Best.

Their fried 4 Piece Chicken is on a whole other level. super tender, great seasoning and juicy meat, crust has nice crunch. My go to sides are usually baked beans and green beans. For me the baked beans were really sweet, now dont get me wrong I like sweet, but these were overly sweet, they need a nice balance between sweet and savory and maybe some spice even. the greens were good, nice flavor, right amount of salt. Door Dash menu was out dated so some of the other sides I requested, they didnt have. One of my subs was the yams, those were really yummy, Im glad that I got them, a definite must try. Another sub was the Brunswick stew, now Ive had some good and some bad(one place really bad), Boss Hog has some killer stew. lots of flavor, nice consistency between thin and thick. I havent tried the Icebox Pie, but looking forward to it.

Okra and pork chop was under cooked. Hushpuppies was over cooked.

The meatloaf was runny, greasy and gross. i do like their chicken, but their Wednesday Special Meatloaf it was not good at all. couldnt even finish it

Last time ordering or eating from here. Every time Ive ordered, its never right. Ordered dark meat and got white meat. The last two times Ive ordered banana pudding, Ive not gotten it. Money wasted.
