Nama Sushi Bar Restaurant - Washington

Good fish and food overall but quite pricey for the portions.

We had the happy hour sushi and it was good. Server was attentive. Service was quick. Second round of sushi rolls' rice was too mushy; too much water perhaps. Overall, good for the price.

We had an amazing time at Nama. The head chef has the classic rolls down and his specials were incredible. We were able to sit at the bar and chat with him most of the night. Highly recommended if you can grab a bar seat.

I went for happy hour and summer restaurant week. Three course summer deal had amazing food and the restaurant had attentive service. The chefs were professional and percise. The miso soup was delicious. The nagiri and sushi were on point. The mochi ice cream desert was flavorful.

If you are a sushi lover and if you are in Washington DC, you should definately try this restaurant. Nama was high quality, quite clean and well designed restaurannt. And surprising part is, quite affordable. I think their sushi shef like to be experimental and it definately pays back when you taste them. The sushis we ordered were definately top noch, taste like heaven and the presentation was very cute. Their service people, Dariel and Maria were very kind, friendly and respectful people. They really made our night. When we finish our dinner, they served us an amazing delicious desert as a complimentary. We were 4 people and 1 child, even our child was so happy with the food. I highly recommend you to visit Nama. You will not be regret!!! :
