Bidra med feedbackWe ended up here after discovering the kor-mex place a couple places up was only open until 6 on Saturday. Restaurant located on the 2cd floor, entrance has all the hall of infamy politician photos that have ate there. We ordered sczezuan chicken stonebowls, pork dumplings, andbang bang shrimp. The prices were pretty reasonable for D.C. and we enjoyed the food, even had enoughfor 2 containers to bring home which we ended up giving to homeless along the way. Overall great value, highly recommend.
I thought this place was nice. It was cheap for DC and I was able to find parking right around the corner. I ordered basic stuff such as egg rolls and General Tso's chicken as well as a crispy chicken dish on a Monday afternoon and I heard them start theorder immediately after it was placed and the food was out before I knew it. The portions were healthy and I enjoyed what I ate.I will return next time I travel to DC.
This restaurant didn't appear very inviting from the outside, and I hesitated to head upstairs to reach it, but it turned out to be fantastic! The service was excellent—very fast and attentive—and the food was delicious. We started with a bowl of hot and sour soup and a cucumber salad, and then ordered two main dishes. The Thai noodles, which were a triple something, were our main courses and they were incredibly flavorful! The portion sizes were also just right! My husband and I highly recommend this restaurant—he's even eager to go back for lunch tomorrow before we fly back to the West Coast!
I've ordered from this restaurant several times, and my orders have always been accurate. The food consistently arrives hot and fresh. I've dined in a few times as well and experienced great food and excellent service. I will continue to return as long as the quality remains high.
After months of searching for an authentic, cozy Chinese restaurant in the DMV area and trying out several excellent recommendations, I've come to the conclusion that HUNAN DYNASTY is exactly what I was looking for! This place features a lovely fish tank, decor that seems to have remained unchanged since the 1990s, and signed photos of visiting senators adorning the walls—plus, the food is delicious (think classic Chinese takeout rather than Dim Sum or traditional fare). It has been quite empty lately since they just reopened for dine-in, but if you're in the area and craving some Chinese cuisine in a quiet, nostalgic setting, this is the spot to visit! For those interested in more traditional Chinese dishes, I highly recommend Mark’s Duck House for Cantonese Dim Sum and A&J Restaurant for Northern Chinese Dim Sum.
