Amigo Mio - Washington

I just got carry-out (and tipped) and just sat down in my hotel to eat my dinner. I have no utensils and no napkins! Am I supposed to eat with my fingers?! The steak isn't tender and the food isn't good--threw most of it in the trash. Waste of money and won't return.

We walked down Wisconsin Ave and turned on M St and walked right into this delightful surprise that was fabulous in service, ambience and the food!! Well, let's not waste words, the food is Awesome! All 3 orders beat all expectations... Chicken fajita was exceptional, the quesadilla very soft and crispy at the same time and the burrito soaked delightful.Thank you for that flavor trip! ?Must visit and revisit ?

Amigo Mio has strong versions of the standard Mexican American/Mexican) offerings quesadillas, burritos, enchiladas, and the like. It occupies a narrow storefront on M Street in the heart of Georgetown. Service is friendly and good. There is a private parking lot next door pricey $22) but therefore usually available.

This was THE BEST experience that we have had in DC. It was an experience! The service was absolutely great! The drinks were so tasty and strong! The food was so good!
