Bidra med feedbackWe went there with my kids and my mom. We ordered and the food came really fast and the waitress was nice and the lady that brought the drinks was friendly and nice, she even took a picture for us. The food was delicious, great flavor! Price was a little high but it was worth it. I will definitely go back.
We visited for lunch around Halloween and it is obvious that the Mexicans do not joke with their culture. Food was nice, restaurant was not crowded so we were able to enjoy our meals
This is not too bad of a Mexican restaurant. I had the chicken enchiladas covered with mole sauce. The rice and beans were good, the enchiladas were a little cold, but had a good flavor. The drinks were cold and the waiters were awesome. The queso was really good, I would definitely recommend, and would go again.
Charming venue with good food and an amazing brunch deal. I visited on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised by their fantastic offer: just $26 per person for an hour of seating, bottomless drinks, and one meal. Our generous waiter allowed us to stay for four hours without any extra charge. The bottomless drinks were fantastic, particularly the michelada, a traditional beer-based Mexican beverage. The only downside to Alero was the food—while the portion sizes were generous, the flavors were somewhat average. On a positive note, the decor beautifully reflects its Mexican roots, creating an authentic atmosphere!
This is a no-frills Mexican restaurant! The tacos cochinita are different from what’s listed on the menu, which is why I rated it 4 out of 5 stars. However, the tacos al pastor were excellent, with a delightful balance of pineapple and meat. The prices are very reasonable for D.C.! The dishes are straightforward, and the service is quick.
