Captains Fresh Idea - Waldoboro

We ate at Captain's Fresh Idea restaurant a couple weeks ago and it was delicious! This was the only restaurant in Maine where the lobster in the lobster rolls was a little warm which made them absolutely fabulous! All of the food is homemade. The owners were also very friendly and helpful. Our family felt this restaurant serves the best lobster rolls in Maine :

Yummy fried scallops and very good homemade potato salad. Service was very good and friendly. Great example of small family oriented business.

The clam chowder is the “BEST”. Passed this little restaurant for years then finally friends told us to stop and enjoy some delicious seafood! We hooked! Becky is the Best!!! Bob Richards
