Bidra med feedbackI had the fish and fries for lunch....4 little pcs of fish with cold fries. That was frozen squares of fish that you buy after processing. I know work in that field a long time. I was disappointed to my experience there that I will not go back or recommend Moody's in the future. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Moody’s has become a family tradition for us. Anytime we are driving up north and pass Waldoboro, a pit stop at Moody’s is a must. This place is truly a gem with so much history. How lucky are we to have Moody’s be part of our state. We first dined at Moody’s two years ago and just fell in love with it. We love diners, and Moody’s is the epitome of a perfect one: no frills, extensive menu, cheap prices, yummy food that makes you feel good, great coffee, and that ambiance that’s so unique to diners in New England. They have plenty of parking and plenty of space inside, so even on their packed days we haven’t had to wait more than 5 mins to get a booth or table. We love all of the seating options — booths, tables, and bars are available. The menu is quite extensive. We’ve enjoyed their breakfasts and sandwiches, as well as their pies and biscuits (they’re to die for! . The chicken parm sub, the Bertha burger, and the Reuben’s are some of our favorite items from their menu. We are grateful for places like Moody’s Diner. Thank you for being open for all these years!
Waaay overpriced for what you get. I ordered the Turkey dinner on Sunday expecting a decent amount of food as it was quite expensive. Got 3 small slices of Turkey, 1 scoop of Mashed, 1 scoop of Stuffing and a veggie. No cranberry sauce at all, who the hell wants a Turkey dinner with no cranberry sauce. The gravy tasted canned instead of homemade and was all congealed when it got to the table. It's wasn't even enough food to fill me and I even got a cup of chowder and still left hungry. I feel like they are just staying in business through their name and people feeling nostalgic because this ain't nothing special. Cost 100 bucks for 3 people and wasn't even full when I left. Never again!!!
Will be in South Thomaston in October and can’t wait for a return to Moody’s and a piece of blueberry pie! Update: Well, we flew in yesterday and had dinner at Moody’s on our way to our rental. It was Saturday night and we had a bit of a wait but it was worth it! Our waitress, Brenda, gave me a bit of a stink eye when I took her photo coming out of the kitchen carrying orders but she was the complete package as our server. Professional, competent and friendly even though she was busting it on a busy Saturday night with customers filling up the waiting area. The rolls were amazing, the sweet potato fries delicious and my haddock chowder loaded with haddock. Sadly, no room left for blueberry pie but we got it to go and I devoured it for breakfast Here for a week and we’ll definitely be going back to Moody’s
