Trattoria Da Ignazio - VENEZIA

We found this little restaurant by accident one afternoon as we were heading back to our usual apartment. We stopped for lunch and found the place thronging with local business people having lovely steaming plates of risotto! After that we started coming at night and have been loving it for many years. The owner, servers and food are outstanding. And there is a charming private garden to enjoy delicious, fresh seafoods. This is old world charming Venetian dining...at its best.

Too expensive and the food is not tasty. The terrace is nice... We ordered a squid and some fried sea food, two glasses of white wine and we had a 63€ bill. The food was too little, too salty, nothing special at all. The best was the bread. But the worst of all was when I mentioned to the the manager (I guess) that I was not satisfied. He acted in a really unprofessional way. He told me to leave the restaurant. It was an awful experience.

Main dishes were cold, house wine undrinkable and the (only) waiter avoided to speak any language than Italian. Never again.

Ottimo ristorante con un bel chiostro o interno! piatti delicati e ben fuori! peccato x birra calda ma si risolvono piacevolmente con un cestino di ghiaccio

Buon cibo ben curato tradizionale. Ambiente molto gradevole e raffinato si mangia in una corte interna con un pergolato verde e bei fiori a rallegrare la vista
