Had coffee so good, came back for wine, cheese and bread in the evening. Rafael was such a nice guy that we gave him a small tip and he refilled our glasses of wine and gave us a whole new bottle. Nicest guy around. Good food, wine and coffee too!

A very comfortable environment with good music playing in the background, drinks were a good price compared to most places in Venice, we were given cheese and salami on breads to snack on, something nice rather than just highly salted snacks to make you thirstier like most other bars do for there own benefit. Rafael the owner was a very talkative and welcoming man, showing interest in his questions.. where we were from, how long we were there etc. And most of all as we had told him it was our last day, he was kind enough to give us a FREE bottle of wine as we left to celebrate our last night in Venice! Would definetly recommend this homely bar to others, and wish we had found this on our first night. Thank you Rafael!

We were sitting at the counter and the espresso was perfect, not to bitter like in most other bar's. Perfect temperature for drinking.....The other coffee was really heart warming (coffee+grappa+milk+chocolate) also really good, served in a wine glass .....Atmosphere was welcoming, Rafael is a very nice guy, he knows what he's doing....

I LOVE this cafe so much that 6 months after my first visit, I brought another colleague to Venice JUST so we could come here! We didn't stop for coffee until we made it to Cafeè Filermo! The cozy ambiance, coupled with the friendly staff cannot be understated. An assortment of coffee beverages, beer, wine, and liquor are on the menu, along with a couple very light snacks such as flaky, cream filled crossaints, and little ciabiatta tea sandwiches. One can sit at the bar by the window and people watch for hours! Highly recommend!
