Quay 22 - Torridge

We enjoyed a delicious vegan breakfast at this café. The granary toast with avocado and mushrooms was absolutely fantastic. The staff kindly offered us chilli flakes to add some extra flavor. The coffees were also very good. Though it is a small café with an outside canopy, we were fortunate enough to secure a spot. Unfortunately, they didn't have vegan sausages, but overall we still had a great breakfast experience.

This cafe is a shining light in a seemingly uninspired town. Located right on the Quay, with a canopy that allows you to enjoy the outdoors even in typical British weather, this cafe is a gem. Whether you're looking for a meal with friends or family, or just a quick coffee, you will not be disappointed. The menu offers a delightful selection for brunch, lunch, or just a coffee. Choosing from the variety of fresh cakes to accompany your tea or coffee may be a tough decision. If you're in the area, give it a try - you won't be let down.

This cafe is wonderful! They were very accommodating in seating our two families with strollers and babies. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious, especially the cake!

Great selection of drinks, savory snacks and cakey treats. We had smoked salmon and advocado on toast from the specials menu. Absolutely delicious. Lovely friendly and attentive staff. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Dog friendly to boot.
