Kingsburg - Torridge

Really good food after a day of beach walking. Will deliver but remember its cash only on delivery. Had to empty the car to look for the last bits of need shrapnel.

First and last visit here. Prawn balls seemed refried, beef in curry like shoe leather and cashews nuts burnt. Overall tasteless meal which went in the bin! Decided to go to my usual takeaway where fir the most part meals are consistently good.

Honestly deserves no stars. The food was soggy and greasy, how they managed to achieve this is beyond me. I called to complain, was given some vague words then hung up on. It took me going to the restaurant and complaining before I got a refund, not before I was asked extremely rudely what was wrong with it. If you in any way have the slightest of food standards and don’t enjoy mouthfuls of soggy grease, I urge you to find anywhere else in the area to feed yourself.

We had the £24 meal for 2 and the portions were huge. This included a gigantic spring roll each. We got 2 meals out of the offering. Normally my expectations are low outside of chinatowns in the uk, but the food was hot and tasty.

The spring rolls had clearly been cooked several times, maybe from yesterday? The prawn toast tasted like a coaster. A badly fried one. The satay vegetables were inedible. And it took almost 2 hours to arrive. Must have been all that triple cooking of the prawn toast and spring rolls. Not a fresh piece of food in sight.
