Antica Trattoria Da Bruna

Been here several times. Every time we’re in Pavia we try to visit this trattoria because of the amazing anti pasta mostly. Of course they also offer good local food and nice simple wine. But anti pasta is the best dish in da Bruna and always extremely fresh. In case you know to get to this place and like the crowded and noisy hall with the sweet atmosphere of the countryside trattoria you’ll be happy to have a lunch here. My sincere recommendations.

The first courses came, two courses of choice, two types of spaghetti, it was nice, and then we wanted to order a main course. There was only one serving, not meat, which came like pastrami, strange and not tasty. we did not touch.

Return a Saturday to lunch after a few years for a reunion between friends: always great service, although local was full (both inside and out) fast and precise, friendly staff and helpful, we chose the menu from € series of appetizers, taste of two first and two seconds, contorni wine water coffee: all good. Only flaw: we were asked if we had the green pass but it was not checked.

Simple and very good dishes. economic prices cozy climate. I'll be right back.
