Levanna - Tignes

Just had a dinner for 11 people in this restaurant that provided the worst food and service ever in France. Ordered from the set menu but took 3 hours for entree, main and desert. Had to ask for water and bread and received 6 pieces of bread for 11 people and no butter 10 people ordered steaks 6 served cold in centre and blue. No waiter to ask to take back so had to walk through the restaurant to get cook to fix. Then the 6 returned steaks ended up at different people Got through the debarcle of mains which most didn’t eat and ordered desert. Well the wait staff did not clear the table and served the desert in between the left over mains, bread and did not provide cutlery. Wait staff were more interested in setting up for tomorrows breakfast than providing service to tonight’s guests! The manager delivered the desert for 9 people then said sorry to 2 people as they did not have the desert they ordered. After 9 people had been served. Why not tell us after taking order to the kitchen that they had run out! Avoid eating in this restaurant as it worse food and worse service ever!

This has a huge west facing terrace so should be ideal for apres ski drinks but historically it never has been and it still isn 't with good reason. We thought we 'd give it another try as the management has changed recently. Unfortunately the service hasn 't. Our party of eight walked onto the terrace and, with no servers in sight, installed ourselves on a table. A server eventually appeared, served other customers on the terrace and then disappeared back inside. After the 3rd time of this happening my husband waved and the server shouted across the terrace I 'm busy can 't you see there 's only one of me . We were stunned by his rudeness. When he eventually deigned to come and serve us we asked for our drinks which included a bottle of rosé. Instead of bringing us the wine list he brought out a bottle of Whispering Angel and proceded to open it. When we asked the price we were told it was 45€. This wasn 't a miscommunication error 2 of us speak fluent French it was just plain bad service. The only upside was that it was a decent bottle of wine, even if it was on the expensive side and we had little choice in it. Le Levanna remains firmly off our list of apres ski bars.

We have previously eaten whilst skiing here skiing for 3 years, and there has been great food, great service and really good gluten free; but this time there were non and when we asked the waiter was incredibly rude, its sad to see such a nice place go downhill.

We chose the papi burger. excellent burger with onion raclette and quality steak. the price is a little high 24€ but the quality and quantity makes it forget. We recommend it.

Venus prendre dans le bar lounge Le Pompon des boissons à deux reprises. Service au bar le matin quand ils viennent d’ouvrir (10h30-11h). Service ok en fin de journée mais Spritz très mal dosés. Intérieur cosy et terrasse agréable avec une vue sur la petite piste des débutants, la remontée mécanique Tovière et le lac de Tignes au loin.
