Ancolie - Champagny-en-Vanoise

This is the lowest rating I have ever given to a restaurant. The hotel is in a good location in Champagny: sunny and close to te only cable car lift. But the restaurant leaves quite a bit to desired. We went as party of 8...and several of us didn't get what we ordered. The meat was very, very disappointing. None of the kids finished their main course. (the Dame Blanche was good) And when we wanted to order a dessert we were told that the menu mentioned desserts had to be ordered at the time of ordering the main course. After that the maitre D got involved and things frankly got unpleasant. This is the first time I have ever been to a restaurant where the experience was so unpleasant. Go to the Canada restaurant instead in Champagny, or the Bouquetin, ....

What a beautiful hotel! Good staff and attention! Thank you for your good advice and your smile! Very beautiful swimming pool with breathtaking views of the mountain, terrace very pleasant breakfast, comfortable rooms ( excellent bedding, I also enjoyed the hairdryer, the kettle with teas and coffee), the terrace of the room with mountain view is simply superb! The hotel’s restaurant is very good! Stop coming back! Beautiful stay!

I've been there 15 years. Delicious hotel, delicious food and nice staff. And that next to the mountain dress you bring at 900 yards. Dorp is still authentic without high risk and chalet style.

Very nice hotel and a good basic to explore the paradiski ski area. 150 mtr to foot to the lift and the pisten. very nice showers for when they come back from the ski day, good and comfortable bed, nice view from the room, good breakfast, cozy fireplace to enjoy a beer. perfect place to stay!
