Lugano Cafe Catering - Tigard

I am slightly obsessed with scones, to the point that anywhere I go that has them I have to try it, no matter what. The scone at this place may be the best I have ever had yet; the thick, crunchy outer crust on it was just amazing. They seem freshly baked that day and was the perfect mix of not too sweet with just a touch of sugar coating for a tad of sweetness. Cappuccino was good also. I thought the food was pretty good but I didn’t like that there wasn’t any table service.

This is the third time I order from the place and the cooks here apparently don’t know how to follow very clear directions. When people ask for things cooked a certain way it is because they PREFER to eat the food they paid for in a way they PERFER. my whole meal is ruined because I ordered to go and got home to find the $15 meal I paid NOT AT ALL to my liking. We were looking for a breakfast spot near our place and this popped up on Yelp and it didn’t disappoint! We arrived around 10am on a Sunday and the place was packed but we only had a short wait before a table was freed up. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. This place is cafe style so you order everything at the counter and then they bring it out to your table. Loved that we could get espresso while we waited in their comfy chairs.
