Empanadas Monumental - Teaneck

Quality of the dough varies with the filling, too much water on the smoothies.

Horrible I never review a food service. But this was embarrassing.i got about 10 different empanadas and this place makes the other franchises look terrible.

Food is delicious and tasteful. I love their fritura, chimis and cachapas. I usually get the chicken and cheese and ham and cheese empanadas always extra pink sauce its so addictivesoooo delicious.

Bought a chicken empanada and a chicken and cheese empanada. Both of the empanadas were practically empty on the inside with just a spoonful of filling. Very disappointing. I will definitely eat here again because a store name Empanadas Monumental must surely be capable of making delicious empanadas. Must have been an off day.

Ordered food via delivery app.. The food took forever to be prepared (I was tracking it) and it was all cold upon arrival. I live less than 10 min away, I probably should have ordered via phone for pick up but I wouldn’t blame the delivery service.. Anyways, the flavors were ok but led my whole family to the bathroom! We ordered empanadas, yaroa and cachapas (de pollo). Overall, the meats were super dry… the yaroa was ok, the empanadas were meh. The empanadas were huge but when you bit into them, they were visibly empty. The fillings were there but it wasn’t filled enough.. plus the fillings just weren’t that good. I think maybe they might have been old empanadas, if they were fresh they might have been better.I wish I would of read the reviews prior to ordering because I would have taken my business elsewhere.
