Bidra med feedbackThe food was decent, but everything seemed to be served in small portions, especially the blueberry cheesecake priced at NT$140. The falafel pita sandwich, priced at NT$180, could have come with hummus instead of extra tzaziki. The sandwich was filled with salad vegetables, which was good. The "I Love Animals" burger, priced at NT$260 (NT$20 extra for a multigrain bun), had a tasty black bean patty and sauce, and came with a choice of French fries or sweet potato fries. The fries were too thick for my liking, especially the dense sweet potato fries. The homemade ketchup was nice, though. The Shiny Ruby, priced at NT$150 (with a discount of NT$20 with an entree), was a tart beetroot juice made from two different vinegars. I only realized they were part of the Plants Fan VIP card network when I saw the sign at the register. You can get a 10% discount on an entree with the card, but they do not accept credit card payment when redeeming the offer. They were also unable to provide me with a Plants Fan voucher as they did not have any available. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere, which may explain the higher prices. However, I do not plan on returning.
During our trip to Beitou for the hot springs, we stumbled upon this charming little eatery. Situated in a remote location, we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and the hospitality of the staff. The tofu dish we ordered was exceptionally tasty.
I recommend trying this restaurant if you are in the area. I ordered a vegan cheeseburger which was very filling and had a unique but delicious taste. I also tried the 6-piece falafel because I am a fan of hummus, and the homemade hummus was incredible. I left the restaurant with a satisfied belly. The menu is available in English, Chinese, and Japanese.
After a trip to the hot springs we were very pleasantly surprised to find this wonderful place not too far from our accommodation and right behind Xinbeitou MRT station). The menu is in Chinese, Japanese, and English and the menu was extensive. The fusion cuisine and bursting with flavor and was filling but didn’t feel too heavy which was nice. We had the Falafel w/ Homemade Hummus which was sublime and the Vegan Cheeseburger with fries. The employees were really nice, the service was fast, the restaurant atmosphere was wonderful and clean and they accept international credit cards. Prices are about what you’d expect in Beitou for non-fast food $960 NTD/$32 USD for two burgers, falafel appetizer, and two drinks). I’m looking forward to going again.
I highly recommended the curry rice, eggplant is unexpectedly very sweet, and the curry immediately reminds me of the feeling in Kyoto, Japan. It won 't be very spicy, it fits my stomach! There is also a Falafela , although it is fried, but still retains the fresh taste of vegetables, and with the Homemade Hummus, LOVE it! Yummy Vegan is very cute and clean. It belongs to Western-style cuisine. There are Chinese, English and Japanese menus, and they are very caring which provides small toys for kids to kill time. visit date: 2019-01
