Mountain Burger House - Squamish

I came in with my family and had the best lunchtime breakfast plate. The owner was busy leading the place but still had time to make the experience personal and friendly. The coffee was amazing even though you were serving after the first...copper, it was all free refills.

We went to have breakfast at this restaurant and found the atmosphere to be very old, which was actually quite charming. The customer service was friendly and the prices were average. We waited for 5 minutes at our table before realizing we had to make our own coffee, which is where things went downhill. The coffee tasted burnt and the creamer had a strange flavor. When our food finally arrived, we were eager to leave. I ordered steak and eggs cooked medium rare, but received a overcooked mess with undercooked eggs. The toast was the highlight of the meal. My fiancé had the blandest bacon and scrambled eggs ever, as if they had drained all the flavor from the bacon and eggs. I would not recommend this place unless you have no taste buds.

Not much to see, but the food is so delicious! Ate a burger and was full for the rest when the day. Great quality! But only open until 3:00.

Breakfast was so.Bacon and eggs. twice the price of Vancouver Breakfast places. Service was terrible. For our refill of coffee we had to go to the table. You dirty ****. Like a restaurant in Vancouver.

Stopped by on the way to Whistler on the recommendation of TA. Everything from the attitude of the lady that took our order to our lunch left a lot to be desired. They literally microwaved the cheese to melt on our burger. There is nothing...authentic about this place. Although I believe in supporting local operations when possible, after paying 50% more than a meal at a chain and feeling that my patronage wasn't valued, there are much better options where at a minimum, you will get a relatively clean washroom.
