Bidra med feedbackAlways a good choice! Today's favorites were the pink deviled eggs, and the Made 75.
The food was mediocre. We asked to split an adult Dish for our 2 young kids and they charged us $4, but never told us they would. My husband ordered the short rib pot roast (one of the most expensive dishes on the menu) and it was so salty, he couldn't eat it. The waitress came back to see a full dish left and didn't ask about it.
Everything is amazing. I work in the downtown Wells Fargo building and our office orders from them quite a bit. The Salmon salad is amazing.
Came on a Saturday evening, and it was pretty quiet. They did ask if we had reservations, but thankfully, we didn't need them. This may be something to think about for a later time on a Saturday. I ordered the Main burger, and it was a hamburger with barboacao (pulled pork) and pickled peppers on top with a fried green tomato. Freaking delish! I had no idea what I was getting into with this burger, but I was so happy I tried it. The side of tater tots were more like a stuffed fried potato puff. It had a little kick to it, but it was perfect all together. Would highly recommend trying this place out. Menu ranges from $13-$50 depending on what you get. There is a full bar and definitely a good spot to just hang out at the bar. Cool artwork and an overall good vibe. Parking: It's downtown Sarasota, so parking is tight. They have street parking you can pay with using an app, or there is a garage around the corner you can park in. The court house has parking across the street. You can check that too. Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
My friends and I were there at 11:45, June 9, 2024. We did not make a reservation given that it’s not the season. When we got there, there were not a lot of customers. A lot of empty tables. We went to the hostess and she said the next available table is at 1:00 pm because we didn’t have reservations. As we were walking away, I went online and made reservations using open table and was able to get a table that is available in 15 minutes. I called and talked to the same hostess and she said it is the restaurant’s policy! It just didn’t make sense to us! The restaurant is almost empty at that time! There’s a lot of available spots in open table! Why would you turn down paying customers?? Is this really the company policy? We were just very disappointed!
