Beefeater At The Barn - Solihull

We have been to the Barn on many occasions and had nice meals however, this visit was hugely disappointing. We waited nearly an hour for our starters to arrive and mine was cold. None of them looked particularly appetising- literally plonked on a plate with no care or garnish. My husbands cheesy mushrooms consisted of a small piece of toasted bread with two mushrooms on top and some grated melted cheese- it was tiny. My halloumi burger was dry and tasteless and I had to add tomato ketchup to it to even swallow it. I know this is a chain restaurant and I certainly don’t expect a lot but this meal very much felt like whoever was in the kitchen on that day couldn’t be bothered. Won’t be back.

Came for breakfast, and the manager on shift was quiet rude towards us. She wasn't friendly in any way. We only had continental as we didn't want to stay too long. Clean area.

I've stayed at the next door premier inn and found this Beefeater the Barn to be excellent. I have had eaten here two times and the staff are excellent Natalie and Sadie breakfast Vicky Charlie and Jamie for dinner. Service with a smile wowww

As always, the experience was lovely. The lunch menu was fantastic, offering good portions for the price of 2 for £12.99. Our server, Viki, was brilliant.

I went to the restaurant on a quiet night and sat alone at the bar. I was greeted by a young lady named Charlotte, whose personality was top-notch. She made me feel welcomed and went above and beyond to make sure my experience was enjoyable. She made me a fantastic cocktail, although she only made one of the two I ordered, which was a bit disappointing. The food was decent and served quickly. Overall, it was a good experience.
