Bidra med feedbackWe tried the following: 》Butashoga Ramen Their signature shio-tonkotsu broth topped with hand-pulled pork sautéed in a sweet soy sauce and ginger was absolutely delish, I totally understand now why it's one of their bestsellers. The balanced flavours coming from the rich soup, saucy meat, sweetness from the braised bamboo shoots and green scallions was delightful. 》Miso Ramen Such a hearty ramen which was infused with a generous amount of roasted Hokkaido red miso tonkotsu soup base, perfectly paired with the various toppings of sweet corn, slow-braised chashu pork slices, thinly sliced green scallions and beansprouts. The robust medley of flavours were simply delectable. 》Takoyaki These Octopus Balls had a pillowy filling complimented by the mayonnaise, Japanese BBQ sauce and seaweed toppings. I took a mouthful and the flavours just bursted in my mouth, so addictive. 》Deep Fried Gyoza Crispy deep-fried dumplings which had a substantial amount of chicken/veggie filling. 》Chilli Crab Matcha Macchiato with Fresh Milk (New) Being adventurous at heart, I instantly knew that I had to give this one a go once I saw it on the menu. It was quite (weird) unique and certainly not for the faint-hearted! Try it for yourselves if you're brave enough like me
I think this restaurant is a great choice for a budget-friendly option. I recommend trying the truffle Ramen, as the taste may not be very strong but the smell is amazing, especially for a price of under 10 dollars. The karage is also a great choice, especially when paired with drinks. This place offers delicious food at affordable prices, making it highly recommended. Additionally, there is seating available now despite covid restrictions.
Good location, ample carpark. Small eatery, be prepared to queue. Wonderful aroma while waiting helps to whip up appetite. 24 hours. You have traditional pork ramen of choice or singapore inspired flavours like chilli crab, salted egg yolk and bubble tea. Good place for your cravings quick fix.
This restaurant is amazing, especially for its authentic taste even at 3am. I tried the Takagi ramen, which was similar to Tonkotsu ramen. The broth was delicious, but the chashu was a bit thin like ham. However, for only $6, it's hard to complain. The value for the price is outstanding. The venue is a bit small, but manageable. If you go late, the tray collector can get filled, causing old soup bowls to overflow. They accept ePay, but only accept payments through nets. Parking can be a bit far, unless you're lucky enough to get a spot right up front.
The ramen at Takagi are very affordable for the average Singaporean. Craving for some spiciness, we ordered the Karaka and their seasonal Chilli Crab Ramen. Initially I thought how spicy can Japanese Ramen get, right? Then I realise I was wrong. The spicy ramen here at Takagi are really spicy. I enjoyed both the flavourful ramen especially that Ajitama Egg that is done well with runny egg yolk. We also ordered the Nori Tempura with Truffle Mayo and their most popular Deep Fried Gyoza. Love the crispiness in both the side dish that added a crunch to our meals.
