Bidra med feedbackFish curry has always be a perennial favourite with my friends and IAnd Samy is one of our joints, though it’s been some time, given the choices available. This visit whilst not a total disaster, it was a letdown. Could it be because of the attention to the “corporate” type customers that the preparation is somewhat fusion and thus “dlluted”. The flavours we sought were somehow no longer thereTsk tsk
One of the best places in Singapore to have authentic Indian food ,just amazing food visited with my family and all thier curries were really good
We were recommended this place by one of the relatives who stays in Singapore. He told us to visit this place for sure. And really we enjoyed our food here. You can spend some great time here ordering different dishes. The proportions and the quality of the food is not compromised atall.
We were recommended this restaurants by one of the staff in Singapore Botanic Garden. Located at dempsey road, the place is bit scruffy but it's clean.<br/ Don't expect fancy table clotchs and fine dining, but just family restaurants that has been serving up authentic south indian food.<br/ <br/ The staff were also very helpful, specially great service from Mani. He giving us ideas on how to order, the menu and he could speak bahasa.<br/ <br/ We had Fish Head Curry (Small) SGD21,omg if you curry lover don't miss it. The dishes which are served in huge portions, savour, nicely hot and spicy too. I love it,never try something like this before.<br/ <br/ Biryani Rice With Vegetable SGD3 served on a banana leaf,it was free flow including the curry and side dish also free flow. The rice so nice and warm. <br/ <br/ Chicken Liver (Small) SGD7 Mysore Mutton (Small) SGD10 is to die for and good combination for biryani rice.
Came with group of 5 ordered fish head curry, tandoori chicken, sambal prawns and mutton curry. Overall food was very yummy but to be frank I expected slightly stronger indian spices. I love the way they serve the food in banana leaves too. I enjoyed fish head curry very much, definitely worth the visit to try this.
