Bidra med feedbackLocated in a beautiful black and white house along Scotts Road, I visited this restaurant for the first time for their Sunday buffet with friends. There was a private event happening on the ground floor, so the staff seemed quite busy. The restaurant manager was friendly and seated us at our table. The service staff made sure our glasses were always full and promptly cleared our plates. The brunch spread wasn't as extensive as I had hoped, but the quality was definitely on par with other well-known restaurants. The manager even came by to check on us to ensure we were enjoying our meal. While it was just a brunch service, I expected more from a Michelin-rated restaurant overall.
We must give credit to this restaurant for its ambiance and the staff, who are worthy of a Michelin star. The staff is professional, courteous, and they provide detailed explanations of each dish. We decided to play it safe with our choices, and the portion sizes were generous. However, the curries lacked the distinctive flavors we were hoping for. Some of the curries had a unique flavor profile, but the portions were too small to fully enjoy or appreciate them. It might be beneficial for the restaurant to serve larger portions of curry and reduce the number of elements in each dish. Overall, the meal was expensive but the experience was worth it, although it did not quite hit the mark in terms of taste.
