Golden Corral - Shelby

Best Golden Corral I have to put my hands down. It was also the busiest I saw. Everything was clean, the food was hot and the service was perfect. Come back!

I am not a buffet person. At all. But I was outvoted on a road trip and had to eat here. All things considered, it wasn't all that bad. You still have kids touching things everywhere so I don't recommend it if you have a weak stomach or immune system, but I ate the food anyway and it was not that bad. Think cruise ship buffet food but with more salt and sugar. They ran out of items quickly and were a little slow to replace. However, restaurant seemed clean and staff were friendly. If you have to go to a buffet, this is not a bad choice.

On Saturday afternoon, the buffet was fully stocked with a wide variety of dishes and options to choose from. I enjoyed the fresh salads and especially loved the pot roasts and roasted okra. The carrot cake was simply heavenly!

The food was exceptional—fresh and bursting with flavor. I do think that drinks should be included with the meal, but overall, it was a lovely experience.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. I appreciated the gloves provided for the buffet and the new policy that allows servers to bring food to your table instead of customers taking it from the bins themselves. The staff was exceptionally friendly, from the cashier to the waiter and the line servers. As always, the food was delicious.
