Primo Ristorante - Sarasota

I'm from italy and I came here hoping to eat some authentic Italian food and I can say the recipes are authentic but the quality isn't quite up to par with home made Italian cooking. The calamari was rubbery and although freshly fried, I wouldn't order it again. The pizzas are probably their best option. The lasagna tasted good overall but the pasta was not quality and it had an overwhelming amount of meat and cheese. Food: 3

Unfortunately, all great things must come to an end. I have been lucky enough to dine at Primos for the past 26 years. There was nowhere else quite like it. It is with a heavy heart that I bid farewell to my dear friends. Your unique charm will never be forgotten by those who had the pleasure of dining here.
