Mikado Sushi Japanese - Santa Maria

This is our go-to local sushi joint. We love the Fuji roll. Service is always great, fast seating and orders. Too bad ghetto Santa Maria people tag up the tables though.

Although I did read a help wanted sign in front; I still had higher expectations of the establishment. We were a party of 10 to celebrate our granddaughter's graduation. My wife and I were skipped over when he asked if we wanted appetizers. On her order she for teriyaki on the side, no teriyaki on the chicken. He even confirmed only on the side, got it. It came with teriyaki on the chicken. Bill came with an automatic 18% tip. I wouldn't of minded the tip but seriously? Food was good but the sushi the kids ordered looked to be cut thin.

Can get a bit crowded but there's a reason for it. Top tier sushi at an affordable price. My friend even got free miso soup if he finished it (he hates that soup). Amazing and quality service. You don't have to sit for hours to get your food it's always fast.

Food and service is always great. Prices as well. Been going here for years! But wanted to highlight, recently went for my sons birthday we had a party of 22 I was worried it would be too much but they were super accomodating! Our server Joe did an amazing job handling our large party on his own! We had a great time, food was awesome and the service was perfect!! Thank you Joe!
